XLENT föreläser på DevSum11
Den 18-20 maj går vår konferens DevSum11 av stapeln för sjunde året i rad i Stockholm. Agendan består av ämnen som Azure, Windows phone 7, SQL Server, UX, NO SQL, HTML5 m.m.

The Realtime web is here – Has AJAX reached the end of the road?
People in general tend to say that HTML5 and its surrounding technologies (APIs) has become a pretty common ingredient in our web-software, but do they really know its potential?
In the wake of HTML5 we can see several of interesting APIs that bringings different kind of features into our browsers, giving us the opportunity to eliminate the dependency to plug-ins and hacks.
One of those is the APIs is the WebSockets API, a feature that gives us the possibility to do build realtime-web-applications with almost zero-latency, supporting bi-directional communication – full filling the need of a fast reliable two way communication that today’s webapplications and users demand.
What challenge does this API bring? What is the real advantage?, how complicated is it to use and how does it affect us system and web developers.
This session gives a holistic point of view of the subject as well as it delivers architecture, programming and demonstrations of how we can use the WebSockets API.
